For an ASN, SNDS will use WHOIS equally to the way it does for IPs, in that it'll authorize any e-mail addresses present in the ASN record taken care of via the registrars.  Upon prosperous receipt with the authorization email and clicking to the hyperlink it has, SNDS will then provide the consumer usage of all the subnets advertised by that ASN.
